Star Steel has mentioned that his infant son is “beating the odds” following an early birth at 23 weeks.

The television personality, whose actual name is Zack George, informed his followers that his infant is battling for life after coming into the world at under two pounds.

Instagram
George, who is 34 years old, shared this message online: “Our Dear Son Leo George. You were meant to stay safely within mommy’s womb, yet you came into our lives on March 26, 2025, at only 23 weeks gestation, with a weight of 1 pound 8 ounces.”

He remarked, “You might not fully grasp how swiftly your life could change, yet what we’re certain about is that you are an incredibly resilient young man and you’ve been beating the odds from day one.”

Concluding the message, he depicted his son as “small, delicate, and battling.”

Babies born earlier than 37 weeks of gestation tend to be quite tiny and may face various health problems, as stated by the NHS. Infants delivered prior to completing 27 weeks of pregnancy are frequently placed in incubators within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where they receive care from specialized professionals.

The impacts of premature birth may influence a child’s growth during their formative years, accompanied by various health problems such as challenges with respiration, maintaining body temperature, regulating breaths consistently, sustaining appropriate blood oxygen levels, balancing blood glucose levels, and combating infections.

Famous colleagues and buddies of the pair expressed their backing through heartfelt messages.
