Although pre-order options via the My Nintendo Store won’t become available until Tuesday (at least for the UK and Europe), other stores such as

As expected, the console has attracted the attention of scalpers, who are currently offering pre-orderedSwitch 2 units at increased prices on eBay.
The Switch 2 comes with a retail price tag of £395.99 (£429.99 including
Mario Kart World
It is currently listed for more than £600 on the online auction platform. As of this writing, the highest price tag among these listings stands at £669.72, whereas someMario Kart World bundles are being sold for around £648.
In the meantime, a Switch 2 console minus Mario Kart World is priced at £598.
If you’re aiming to reserve a pre-order from the My Nintendo Store, be aware that Nintendo has stringent rules set up specifically to deter scalping activities.
Pre-orders are currently available through an invitation-based process, which depends on your status as a Nintendo Switch Online member, the number of hours you’ve spent playing the initial Switch model, and whether you have agreed to receive marketing communications from them. Nonetheless, Nintendo has mentioned that these criteria might become less stringent at some point down the line.
If you’re based in the US, the pre-order scenario has turned rather unclear. This past week,
Nintendo delayed pre-orders
In rural areas scheduled to launch on Wednesday, April 9th, this was done to evaluate the effect of newly declared tariffs—indicating that a potential price hike might occur.
The Switch 2 is scheduled to launch on June 5.
