Following numerous setbacks, Samsung has started distributing the update.
One UI 7
The latest update is being rolled out first to the Galaxy S24, and this release extends to both beta testers and regular users in certain areas.
Samsung is releasing the One UI 7 update for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra users in South Korea. This software upgrade carries a firmware version ending with
BYCG
It represents a significant enhancement, coming with a download size of approximately 5.2GB. However, beta testers aren’t required to install such a large bundle since their update only measures about 400MB. This is due to most substantial modifications having already been implemented through previous beta releases.
The Galaxy S24 FE is not included in this One UI 7 rollout. Typically, Fan Edition (FE) devices do not receive updates at the same time as their standard counterparts. Nevertheless, Samsung has assured that the device will be updated before the month ends. Therefore, you won’t have to wait very long for the upgrade.
To install the One UI 7 update on your Galaxy S24, proceed to
Settings > Software update
and tap
Download and install
Once the download completes, tap the app.
Install now
